How much do QCE tutors cost?
From A$65 an hour, the same rate as Year 7 or Year 10. No contracts and no sign-up fee, so you can stop once your external exams finish.
What does a QCE tutor help with?
The parts that decide your result: IA drafts checked against the marking guide, problem-solving and modelling tasks in maths, research investigations in sciences, and timed practice for the external exam.
How much are QCE external exams worth?
In most General subjects the external assessment is 25% of your result. In maths and sciences it's 50%, so exam practice matters even more there.
Do QCE results still lead to an ATAR?
Yes. Since 2020, Queensland ATARs are calculated by QTAC from your best five General subjects, or four General subjects plus one Applied subject.
Can I do QCE tutoring online from anywhere in Queensland?
Yes. Lessons are live and 1-on-1 on an interactive whiteboard, so students in Brisbane, Toowoomba or Mackay get the same specialist tutors, at times around school, sport and work.
