Amrita came to Tutero scoring 56% on fractions and decimals. She was matched with Rishika, who worked with her every week on exactly what her class was covering. Her next topic test on the same material came back at 100%, and she has since said she wants to take maths further.

What does a maths tutor in Sydney cost?
Maths tutoring is from A$65 an hour, whether your student is in Year 7 or sitting HSC Extension 2. There's no sign-up fee and you can cancel any time.
Should my child take Maths Standard or Advanced?
Advanced suits students who are comfortable with algebra and want calculus. Standard covers financial maths, measurement and statistics with more applied problems. A tutor can work through Year 10 content to help with the choice.
Can a tutor help with HSC Extension 1 or 2?
Yes. Extension tutors cover proof by induction, vectors, complex numbers and harder calculus, and work through past HSC questions with students who aim for the top bands.
When should Year 10 students get maths help in NSW?
Ideally before choosing senior courses, because gaps in Year 10 algebra and functions make Advanced much harder. Term 4 is a good time to fix them before Year 11 starts.
Are lessons online or at home in Sydney?
Every lesson is online, live on an interactive whiteboard. That means no drive to a tutoring centre in peak traffic and a tutor chosen for NSW maths, not for being nearby.
How do we get started with a Sydney maths tutor?
Send the short form with the year level and maths course. An account manager calls within 24 hours, matches a tutor on level and personality, and sets up the first lesson.
