Angles Worksheets

Build a complete angles unit from one prompt — types of angles, measuring with a protractor, complementary and supplementary pairs, angles on a straight line, angles in triangles, and angles in parallel lines. Curriculum-aligned for Year 3 through Year 10 (Grade 3 through Grade 10). Differentiated three ways so the same lesson works for the student still finding right angles and the student already chasing co-interior proofs.

What's Included in an Angles Worksheet

🔥Differentiated Questions

Three difficulty tiers on the same worksheet — Mild, Medium and Spicy. Lower-primary students name and sort acute, right, obtuse, straight and reflex angles. Middle-years students measure, estimate and construct with a protractor. Senior students work with parallel-line angles, missing angles in polygons, and angle-sum proofs. Same lesson, every learner appropriately stretched.

🌍 Engaging Puzzles

Real diagrams, not boilerplate. Every worksheet ships with measurable angle figures, labelled vertices, protractor overlays where useful, and working space sized for the question. Print-ready, marked-up, and visually clean — closer to a textbook page than a generated PDF.

💡Problem Solving Questions

Edit anything before you print. Swap a question, add a missing-angle puzzle, change degrees, rewrite the wording for an EAL student, or extend the parallel-lines section. The AI drafts, you decide what lands on the desk.

Space for Working

Practice Questions

Each worksheet pairs a short worked example with progressive practice — identify, measure, then calculate. Students see the angle type, apply the rule (sum to 90°, 180°, or 360°), and check their reasoning. The structure mirrors the way angles actually get taught, not a random list of questions.

Grouping of Students

Engaging Worksheet

Problems are framed around classroom-real contexts — clock hands, road signs, roof pitches, tessellations and folded paper — so the geometry connects to something students can picture. Useful for the Year 6 student who needs the link to a real angle and the Year 9 student preparing for trigonometry.

Easy Editing

Enabling & Extending

Use the worksheet as homework, a do-now, a station rotation, or a quick formative check. Answer keys generate alongside the worksheet, so marking is fast and the data tells you who needs another pass at supplementary pairs before you move into parallel lines.

What Does a Strong Angles Worksheet Actually Cover?

Types of Angles, Named and Sorted

The first move is fluency with vocabulary. Students sort acute (under 90°), right (90°), obtuse (between 90° and 180°), straight (180°) and reflex (between 180° and 360°) angles, then move to identifying them inside polygons and everyday shapes. This is where the misconception that "a bigger arc means a bigger angle" gets caught and corrected. Year 3 to Year 6 / Grade 3 to Grade 6.

Measuring and Drawing with a Protractor

The classic protractor question: which scale do I read? Tutero worksheets explicitly contrast the inner and outer scales, ask students to estimate before they measure, and include angles that open both ways — the cases where students typically read 30° when the answer is 150°. Year 4 to Year 7 / Grade 4 to Grade 7.

Angle Relationships — Complementary, Supplementary, Vertically Opposite

Once students can measure, they need to reason. The worksheet builds from complementary pairs (summing to 90°), through supplementary pairs and angles on a straight line (180°), into vertically opposite angles, and finishes with co-interior, alternate and corresponding angles on parallel lines. Diagrams scaffold the reasoning at first, then drop away. Year 6 to Year 9 / Grade 6 to Grade 9.
