Which AP subjects can I get tutoring for?
You can get help with any AP course your school offers, from AP Calculus AB and BC to AP Chemistry, AP US History and AP English Language. We match you with a tutor who knows that specific course, so lessons go straight to the content and question styles you'll see in May.
When should I start AP tutoring before the May exams?
Starting early in the school year works best, because a tutor can keep you on pace with your class instead of cramming in spring. Students who start later still benefit. Your tutor will prioritize the units that carry the most weight and build in full practice questions during the final weeks.
How are AP exams scored?
Each AP exam is scored on a scale from 1 to 5. Many colleges look at scores of 3 or higher for credit or placement, though every college sets its own policy. Your tutor can help you set a realistic target for each course and plan lessons around it. A strong score in one course can also shape which classes a student takes next year.
Can a tutor help with AP free-response questions?
Yes, free-response practice is a big part of most AP lessons. Your tutor gives you real-style prompts, reviews your written answers line by line and shows you how graders look for reasoning, not just a final answer. That feedback is also written into the report after each lesson. Over time, students learn to plan answers quickly under the clock.
