Who Qualifies and How the Hope Scholarship Works
The Hope Scholarship is available to Florida students in K–12 who’ve been subjected to bullying, harassment, or physical violence in a public school setting. Once the incident is reported and verified, families can apply through Step Up For Students and receive funding to cover private school tuition and related educational services—including tutoring. The amount awarded varies by grade and district, but the support it offers is life-changing. Tutero’s tutoring programs are fully compatible with Hope Scholarship guidelines, making it easy for families to apply funds directly to our services. We also assist with documentation and reporting, so families can focus on healing and learning.
