Tutors work to the student's own course: high school Psychology electives, AP Psychology, IB Psychology at SL and HL, and dual enrollment psychology courses.

Lessons cover the nervous system and the stress response, classical and operant conditioning, models of memory, sleep, mental health and research methods: variables, hypotheses, sampling, ethics and data analysis. Students also practice short answers and the AP free-response questions.

Each lesson is one student and one tutor, live, on an interactive whiteboard where they can map out the nervous system, label a study's variables and grade practice answers together. The student keeps the same tutor each week, so the tutor knows which unit is next and how the next test will be graded.

Research methods questions follow a pattern the student can learn: identify the independent and dependent variables, write a hypothesis that names both and the population, then explain what could confound the result. Tutors set new study scenarios each week, the student answers, and the tutor scores it against the AP rubric.

Closer to the exam, lessons move to past free-response questions, including the article analysis and evidence-based questions, timed multiple choice and a review plan that covers every unit.
