Do you offer SAT tutoring in Scottsdale?
Yes, SAT prep is one of our most requested services in Scottsdale. The tutor starts with a diagnostic test, then plans lessons around weak spots in Reading and Writing or Math. Because the SAT is now digital and adaptive, practice uses the same format students will see on test day.
Can a tutor help my child in honors or accelerated math?
Yes, our tutors cover advanced math, including honors courses, pre-calculus, calculus and AP classes. They keep pace with the class and add challenge problems when your child is ready. That helps students stay ahead rather than playing catch-up before tests. Each lesson report notes which topics were covered, so you can see how your child is tracking against the class schedule.
Is there reading tutoring for younger Scottsdale students?
Yes, we work with early readers from kindergarten. The tutor checks phonics, fluency and comprehension, then builds lessons at the right level. For older students, reading lessons focus on longer texts, analysis and written answers. Every lesson ends with a written report so you can see which reading skills are growing. Parents can also ask for books or passages that match their child's interests.
Do lessons follow Scottsdale Unified classwork?
Yes, lessons are built around the work your child brings home from their Scottsdale Unified School District classes. The tutor uses current homework, tests and teacher feedback. That makes each lesson useful for what's due now, not just general practice. Students at charter, private or homeschool programs get the same approach with their own materials.
What does tutoring cost for Scottsdale families?

How flexible is scheduling?
Very flexible. Tutors are online weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends, so you can fit lessons around sports, music or a part-time job. You set a regular time, and your account manager can move it if your schedule changes. Lessons before a big test can also be added for a few weeks, then dropped back to the usual schedule afterward. Scottsdale families use this often during finals.

Most Scottsdale students are in Scottsdale Unified School District, whose high schools include Arcadia, Coronado, Chaparral, Desert Mountain and Saguaro. North Scottsdale is served in part by Paradise Valley Unified, where teens attend schools such as Horizon and Pinnacle High. Smaller pockets of the city fall into Cave Creek Unified or Fountain Hills Unified.
All of these districts give Arizona's AASA, the yearly state test in reading, writing and math. Scottsdale Community College, with a second campus in the Scottsdale Airpark, adds another reason to start college planning early. Our lessons follow the classwork and pacing of your child's own school, stay tied to Arizona's standards, and prepare Scottsdale students for the AASA as well as later SAT or ACT goals.
Scottsdale is loosely split into four areas: South Scottsdale, Old Town, Central Scottsdale along the Shea Corridor, and North Scottsdale.
